Aims and Scope

The Journal of Discovery Core (JDC) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary international journal dedicated to breaking down disciplinary barriers and promoting deep interdisciplinary integration and innovation in computational and cognitive engineering, digital intelligence, and all fields of knowledge. This journal provides an ideal platform for showcasing high-quality research, requiring scientific soundness, methodological rigor, and adherence to the highest ethical standards.

Journal of Discovery Core is a bimonthly journal. Issues are published in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

Core Methodological Requirements: JDC's core philosophy is "interdisciplinary discovery driven by computational methods," and its core focus is "integration."

Except for economics and management, all submissions must be based on rigorous quantitative and computational methods. The journal does not accept purely theoretical speculation, purely descriptive textual studies, or research relying solely on qualitative analysis. All research should clearly demonstrate methodological characteristics from the scientific, engineering, or mathematical fields, such as specific algorithms, models, simulations, data analysis, or computational experiments.

Exceptions: Submissions to economics and management can be based on rigorous empirical analysis (e.g., econometric regression, statistical analysis, quantitative analysis of case data). However, research employing more advanced computational methods (e.g., machine learning prediction, system dynamics simulation, multi-agent modeling) is strongly encouraged.

Scope
JDC welcomes original research papers showcasing the deep integration of computational methods with specific domain-specific problems, exploring a wide range of complex issues from traditional disciplines to emerging frontiers. Regardless of the core algorithm or model your research is based on (e.g., optimization algorithms, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, geometric computation, intelligent control, etc.), as long as you can find a point of convergence with any other field, JDC is the ideal platform to showcase your work.

We particularly encourage research that proposes novel algorithms, models, or frameworks, as well as research that innovatively applies existing methods to significant real-world problems. We warmly welcome multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research that deeply integrates core methodologies of science, engineering, and mathematics with the following fields (including but not limited to):

6. Other Interdisciplinary Fields
Any discipline that can meaningfully integrate with science and technology and generate new knowledge, methods, or applications, provided it meets the journal's core methodological requirements.

Our Commitment
JDC is committed to providing an open and inclusive academic exchange platform for all scholars who wish to combine precise scientific methods with broad human knowledge. We firmly believe that the greatest innovations often arise at the edges and intersections of disciplines, and all such innovations must be built on a rigorous methodological foundation.

Review Criteria
All submissions will be rigorously evaluated according to the following criteria:

Scientific validity and methodological rigor (meeting the journal's core methodological requirements)

Novelty and originality of the contribution

Relevance to the journal's mission and scope

Clarity and quality of expression

Adherence to ethical research standards

By promoting deep integration and exchange of ideas across technology, science, and applied fields, JDC aims to expand the boundaries of knowledge and provide innovative solutions to contemporary societal and industrial challenges.
