Article Processing Charge

The Journal of Discovery Core is committed to open access publishing, ensuring that all content is freely available to readers worldwide without subscription or pay per view fees.

Current Policy (Until December 31, 2026)

From launch until December 31, 2026, the journal operates as a Diamond Open Access journal. No article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, or page fees are required from authors. Publishing is completely free of charge.

Future Policy (Effective January 1, 2027)

Starting January 1, 2027, all accepted manuscripts will be subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 50 USD. This fee covers the costs of peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, plagiarism screening, digital preservation, website maintenance, and long term archiving.

The journal will never charge submission fees, page fees, or subscription fees. Readers will always have free access to all published content.

Revenue Sources

To sustain the journal's operations while keeping APCs minimal (only 50 USD), Digital Intelligence Press Limited receives financial and institutional support from the following sources:

  • Digital Intelligence Press Limited – the publisher, providing core operational and infrastructure funding, with revenue generated from independent commercial activities including technology consulting, collaborative research and development, data services, and professional training, a portion of which is allocated to support the journal.

  • Academic and Institutional Partnerships – collaborative support from universities and research institutions.

No revenue is derived from reader access fees or subscription fees. The journal operates on a low cost, author friendly basis.

Reader Access

All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Readers may access, download, copy, distribute, and share the full text of all articles immediately upon publication, free of charge, with no subscription or pay per view fees.

Fee Waiver Policy

For authors from low income countries or those facing genuine financial hardship, a full waiver of the 50 USD APC may be granted upon request. Please contact the editorial office at editorial@dipscie.com before submission to discuss waiver options.
